For free in the Seattle area

For free to someone in the Seattle area (shipping would be way too expensive as this is a heavy load as is). I was given the parts so I will pass it along.

The box contains two lower BJ trailing arms, one upper BJ trailing arm, one upper trailing arm that has been inspected: the bearing area is OK but the seal lip while not perfect should be OK.

Two complete '66 to mid-'68 spindles complete with BJ washers, alignment eccentric, spindle spud washers and 2 nuts (one right and one left hand thread) and two incomplete mid-'68 and later spindles. The components on the early spindles should be interchangeable on either the early or late spindles.

Everything has been glass bead blasted to get rid of old paint and rust then wrapped in Saran Wrap to protect them. These are not show quality parts but would work OK otherwise.

PM me so we can meet somewhere to deliver the parts.

Lee

These parts are still available if anyone needs them, they're now in MY hoard in Kenmore. No telling how long it'll be before I get around to working on some of the beam projects on my list, so if anyone needs them before I do just let me know. Shipping wouldn't be cheap, I'm sure, but if you specify what you're after I'll figure it out and they're yours for actual shipping cost.

Wish you had a 28 pict 1 electric choke stock 1974 Beetle. Mine has the little wire coil inside burned into can't repair. Any info where I might find one cheap?
Thanks Lee.

The 12V choke heaters aren't at all rare, they were used on all stock Beetle carbs from 28PICT-1 through 34PICT-4. You might be able to find one locally for around what it would cost to mail one across country.

People ask $20-30 for them at places like theSamba - but I don't imagine they're selling too fast at that price.

I have a couple of boxes of old carb parts. Give me a few days to poke through them and if I can find one it's yours.
