1971 Super Beetle, with a new turbo engine and transmission with tons of other new parts.

You can contact me via email or PM me. The car is in Gilbert, Az.

You can see pictures here:

or here

$3500 OBO

The engine and transmission has about 25 miles on it. The details are below. New floor pan on the right side (battery side). I just don't have the time and I am getting out of VWs. It comes with 2 sets of rims, 5 stock rims with tires and 4 Empi style 8 spoke (no tires). Feel free to contact me with questions. I am throwing in pretty much all the parts, books and VW specific tools I don't need anymore with the car. I have the T bar front bumpers, but they aren't installed.

Engine (everything below was new when installed):
Bore - 94
Stroke - 69
Deck H - .056in
Barrel Shim - .01 in
Engine Shim - .04 in
Head CC - 55 cc
Comp Ratio - 7.5

Forged Piston and cylinder set 94 mm
New counter 69mm weighted crank
Dual Relief Case
The crank, rods and pistons have all been professionally balanced
Lightened flywheel
Engle TCS-10 CAM
1.1 Ratio Rockers
Windage push rod tubes
New bearings (case and main)
041 Dual Port Heads with dual springs
New lifters
External Oil Filter
High flow oil pump
Extra Oil Sump 1 ½ Quart Capacity
Electronic ignition with a locked distributor at 21 deg
8mm Spiro-Pro Wire Set
Silver 26000 Volt Coil
Oil breather kit
Running Straight 40 weight oil
NGK (2120) D8EA 12 x ¾" Standard Spark plug (for turbo use)
New battery that is kept on a battery tender

Fuel:
Dellorto 40 Side Draft (jetting is close to this, 7772-6 turbo emulsion tubes, 195 main fuel jets. 7850-9 idle jet holders, #70 idle jets, #70 pump jets. #170 main air corrector jets, #250 needle and seat)
Holley Electric Fuel pump
Fuel pressure regulator
Fuel filter

Turbo:
It was supposed to be an under the decklid kit. Without some major modifications, I don't see this really fitting under the decklid without cutting into it. So, I decided to just leave the decklid off for now.
The headers are a custom 4 to 1 into a T-3 turbo manifold. It is wrapped with header wrap.
The turbo is a T-3 with a carbon seal, internally waste gated.

Transmission:
Kennedy Clutch Kit 1700lb stage 1 pressure plate, Kushloc Clutch disc, new throw out bearing
Pro Street transmission from Dons Bus Box
Chromoly IRS Racing Axles, 33 Spline
New CV boots
German CVs that I checked and repacked when installing the transmission and axles

Suspension (New in Box, not installed)
Tapered Lowering Springs (Sport)
Adjustable Struts Assembly
Flip it Bump steer kit
New steering bushing (installed)

Quick Release steering wheel adapter (not installed)

Brakes:
New Master Cylinder
Front Disc Brake kit (New, not installed) from Top Line Parts
New rear drum wheel cylinders (Installed)
New rear drum spring kit and shoes (not installed)
The hand brake needs repair. It works but the spring assembly is not locking out.

Interior:
Roll Cage
Racing Seats (one installed in picture)
Rear Seat isn't installed in pictures
No carpet

Hey westypoo,
I don't know the exact market for a car like this with this engine and condition. I plan on starting at what I believe is somewhat reasonable. I am also looking for a best offer.

If there is no interest, I will probably just hold onto the car until I finish it.

Cheers,
