1973 super beetle. Blue.
PRO:
Daily Driver. Gets me to work every day.
New MK4 TDI starter retrofit. HIGH TORQUE! Cranks like a monster.
New 75a alternator
New Battery and Battery cables
New stock replacement Pierburg Pict34 carb
New plug wires, plugs, cap, rotor.
Empi eurostyle exhaust
New poly trans cradle bushings.
Empi rear padded trans strap.
High compression heads with stainless valves and dual valve springs. (Requires 91 octane)
Wood/chrome steering wheel with momo hub.
Rebuilt shift linkage with Poly bushings and short throw kit.
NEW front seat belts.
Electrical is great, no issues.
Interior in good shape.
4 stock hubcaps included
CON:
Paint is a 6.5/10, was repainted in the last 15 years. Some paint stripped off by gas door from spillage (no longer spills)
Leaks oil (Don't they all...)
Small bubbles under paint by rear window vents (common on Supers)
Exhaust rattles against body. Easy fix if you just replace it.
$3200 or best offer with Stock wheels. Tires are shot. Need replacement. They will get the car home, but no more. One tire has slow leak.
