The heads are older castings,(dual port)with out the bosses around the valve guides (better flow) stock size valves. They have also been opened up for 90.5-92's. The clutch is a ne sachs, with the three lever style pressure plate, and matching disk. Similar to the kennedy 1700 lbs. and the type 1 cranks are stock (no counter weights) and the condition is unknown. The Vanagon crank is counter wieghted, and can be used in a type 1 case. See the OXYboxer / Wasserboxer forum.

Thanks Russ,

How about the T5 camshaft though? New? Regroud? Hydro?

... Also it is not wise to try and put a T5 crank in a T1. Too much work and cheaper to get a DMS stroker built for a "B" style cylinder, the 76.4 ends up to far in the hole and then the cyliders need shaved down to get any compression out of it.

Thanks,

Let me see if I can answer a few questions! The rocker arms are stock type 1. I only have Solex carbs. and the breaks are drums.
As far as the type 5 stuff, it is in Michigan, and I will e-mail you about that and other OR VW stuff Joe.
Thanks

The Oil cooler is a front mount from a BMW M3. It is the perfect size to tuck into the lower grill of a super beetle, or mount low on a standard. I was going to use it on my super, but I don't need it with the engine I'm running.
