 Post subject: wanted single port heads (1600cc) trade DP heads or 40 hp 1s

I want/need a set of 1600 single port heads. i wish to trade w/ my dual port heads or my 40 horse single port heads.


both sets of heads look to be in great shape. no cracks, just been sitting for awhile.

I'm builing a SP type 3 motor so i can use my cool single port manifolds and new pdsit carbs for a good commuter car.

I have a single port engine you can have for a set of DP heads. I will look tonight for the engine #.
It has a broken exaust stud, i think thats the only thing wrong with it.

hey, i'm in marysville too. i got a green 69 bug that i drive in the summer sometimes. we should all meet up sometime.

sorry mine turned out to be a D motor which is a 65 1200 40 horse with the removable gen stand.

Are you still lookin for some 1600 SP's? I may have a line on a couple, and I'm pretty sure there's a complete engine available as well.
If you still need em I'll go have a look, I need a DP head, found cracks in one of mine today. :P

don't need the heads anymore BUT i do need teh correct cylinder tins for a 1600 sp


right now i'vve got tins from a 40 horser :oops: :(

i'll check my dp heads, i might have one w/ o cracks

I just scored a pair of 040's, so I dont need em anymore. I went through the spare parts at my friends place, only cyl-tin he had was for DP heads.
