Re: Update and improvements on my Oxy build
Finally some quality time in the garage again, and I got a package with new piston rings (I broke one when I disassembled the engine...) so the final assembly could finally begin.
Here's a shot from when I assembled the heads and pushrod tubes: And a couple of the finished longblock: Not too much remaining now before I can put it back in the car; only drawback is that we had another foot of snow yesterday and the car is stored at a friend's barn, so I will need to wait for better weather conditions.

Re: Update and improvements on my Oxy build
Just caught up on a few pages, wow!
That 3D printer is a dream I bet!
Going back to the restriction thing, I can’t see it being 63mm inlet the issue, my reasoning being if you were sizing a single TB 63mm would be too big from what I gather.... maybe internal turbulence ect?
The new velocity stack design you have is better for flow then the old, there’s a thread fjcamper made I think that compares differnat designs.
Keep up the good work, it’s inspring me to sort my project

Not too much happening in the garage, though; I am wrapping up some plumming and wiring issues, and hopefully the snow will disappear soon so I can get the car back from storage and have the engine installed.

Some final prepwork before the accessories are mounted to the engine. I have never used a sewing machine before, so I think I will leave the rest of this to my wife
