The only reason why I did not go with the Avery case is because my cylinders, push rods, and exhaust would not work with the Avery case. The deck is a full 1 inch less than the wasserboxer case. So, a set of 6.3 rods will work with the oxyboxer, while the same cylynders will work with 5.352 rods on an Avery case.
The avery case can be lined bored for ($35) 2.520 Chrysler bearings, and doesnt need wleding to cut a 4 inch seal. No more $2000 machine work or a basterdized set of 3 different bearings...It will slao take a deep sump. Jenning wanted $500 for a deep sump on the Oxyboxer. So, for a full $1000 less than Jennings , one can get an Avery case that is stroked, and machined with a .100 cam drop.. So, no cam clearancing or rod clearancing either...
Avery is way way way easier to deal with also.......He doesnt need $100 every time he picks up a micrometer.....
