pushrod tubes

Im building 2.1 oxyboxer and find that the standard pushrod tubes are too long,
as the head and case seals are different diameters what are the best tubes to use?

i use these on my oxy project , Genuine vw stainless steel .

I thought it was poss to use the T1 "widemouth" aftermarket tubes for an oxy..

The expandable wbx tubes are bloomin costly over this side of the pond by the way..

I'm not aware of any tubes made for a T1 that will work correctly on a Wasser.

Gentlemen, i use Scat T1 tubes on my wasser boxers, you will find the case end seal fits down inside the case, rather than in the proper radiused seal seating, but this causes no problems and doesent leak oil, BUT, i am dry sumped, i would emagine they are still o.k with wet sump.

I use csp expanding tubes. They have never leaked.

Thanks for the advise guys, I'm trying the cps tubes and hoping for the best, they dont work
I'll try turning some sleeves to fit the larger seals on the c/case ends of the tubes

My csp tubes came with washers so that the large seals could be fitted.
I use a little of the yellow case sealant supplied in the gasket kit on the flat edges but dry where it meets the case.

The Jaycee tubes also come with washers to back up the larger silicone seals. The washers are actually valvespring shims. If you need to get your own you can find various sizes at www.cylinderheadsupply.com.

When I ran a Wasser I had some bad luck with factory repair tubes leaking, I had an adaptor made so that I could use lower WBX tube seal on a old style repair tube.

It looks like others have found using Beetle style ones OK
