76x85.5... can I?

Post by vwfye »

I have everything on the shelf, except for the connecting rods to build this. But, can I? Will the size of the piston hole vs the stroke of the crank cause any issues? Do I have to run a long rod to reduce the angle?

Forged 85.5s have shorter skirts because they were often used in these combos back in the 80s and 90s. You will have to trim the pistons skirts most likely. Not a big deal, just make sure to check it.
