thermostat control rod thread size?

Post by Max Welton »

Gonna make one.

The rod itself appears to be ~4mm. What is the thread?

Thread a bolt into your thermostat. Match it up. :)

I can check tonight at my shop for you if you don't have an answer by then.

It is a common M size/pitch, when I made a control rod I used a hardware store bolt that I then welded to my plain steel bent to fit half.
Yeah some may call it overkill, but you can't have too much overkill.
