No. I think they are the Empi version of Lube-a-Lobe. I won't be buying those again.
I was looking into the CB Light weight lifters for a replacement for my turbo motor. Can't afford Udo lifters now.

The lifter bores look perfect. No galling or marks at all.

two piece lifters w/insert and snap ring.
Looks like they got carried away cutting the internal snap ring or exterior oil flow groove.
Addendum to Newtons first law:
zero vehicles on jackstands, square gets a fresh 090 and 1911, cabby gets a blower.
EZ3.6 Vanagon after that.(mounted, needs everything finished) then Creamsicle.

I'm gonna check the springs to see if they are floating the valves.

I concur, ideally the snapring groove wouldn't be made at the same height as the oiling groove.

Ummmm...
Tool steel lifters work on cast cams or billet or hard welded cams.
Roller lifters call for billet/hardened cams due to the surface loading.

Thorstens lifters show up all over... His inserts are also available for T4 or T5 case use.
He is also a member here and if in Europe, one should buy direct.
Shag carries them in the US.
