An unusual mating of glass body parts

Post by Ol'fogasaurus » Wed Apr 22, 2015 8:44 am ... id=1780240

This is so clever and so unusual. I think the body might be a Safari or a knockoff of the Safari which, with the glass hammered (chopped) '33/'34 Ford top is sitting in place it is such an unusual mating that, with some work and new ideas, could be very cool. The front of the Safari is, in some ways, reminiscent of the '33/'34 but the rear of the car needs some reshaping to work/flow with the top.

In the "old days" there were some custom cars made with bubble tops; they tilted either forwards or to the rear for egress. This might be able to be made to work the same way.

Anyway, I thought it was cool and wanted to share the idea.
