Here's mine.

Bought as an unbuilt kit which has been modified (hacked) for a mid engine V8 but never completed. I'm putting it back to original and basing it on an IRS/BJ pan. Still plenty of work to get it on the road but hoping it will look something like this when its finished.

I think mine was made in the UK by either ACM, AED or Seraph as it's different than the Fiberfab or FT versions. A major problem for me was the windscreen which is from a 60's Ford Taunus and unobtainable in the UK. I found out that they are available custom made from Pilkington Automotive. I still need rear screen but I'm not sure what thats from so may end up using Perspex.

Not sure about colour yet but thinking about the Porsche in the picture which is a 904GTS raced by Stirling Moss and Innes Ireland at Silverstone in 1964. What do you think?

Definitely looks like the Fiberfab FT Bonito.

Why go back to the rear engine chassis when you've got it hacked for mid engine now?

I have just bought a Bonito it is the same mould as yours, what windows did you have to get for the front and rear? I have the door glass but not the rear side windows I will make these I suspect. Any help will be appreciated.

Front screen is mid 60's Ford Taunus i.e. unobtainable. I got mine for Pilkington Automotive made to order for about £200. The rear is Mark 3 Escort also getting hard to find but got one off egay for £10. The early kits used Opel Kadett Coupe for the rear which had square corners at the bottom. The Escort are radiused
I got the rear rubber from Burtons and the front from a friend with a Bonito. The rear fitted perfectly but the front puckers a bit round the corners. It seems to seal ok though.
Rear windows are glass and came with the kit but I'm sure PA could make them too or just use Perspex. Seals are generic window rubber from somewhere I can't remember.
Where about are you based. Looks like Cambs?
