100+ ex-military VWs (T3 Syncros,183 iltis,181)

Post by Jim from Greece »

As the olympic games was finished I will be able to sell some "fresh" decomissioned military cars.

VW 183 "iltis" (244 vehicles) with the following specs
gasoline engines 1.7l,24v alternators
some have front diff lock
*all* have rear lock
mileage vary from 15k to 90k.
Good overall condition for their age with *ZERO* rust
16" wheels with 7.00x16 military tyres.

VW 181 (10 vehicles) all 1.6 type I engines : 8 are IRS 2 are reduction boxes setup.Little to minor rust.
Ebespacher gas heater in all vehicles.
Military lights etc (some have siren and beacon).
Also some used parts (just sheetmetal and brakes drums/front axle parts)

PLEASE NOTE THAT ALL CARS/PARTS ARE LOCATED IN GREECE

Have questions ? Please e-mail [email protected]

I'd be interested in come parts from a swing-axle 181 if they are available. Specifically, the overload spring, commonly known as a "Z" bar.

My Mom Shipped a Big Ass 40 foot Container to greece for about 4000ish a few years ago...

The thing about container is to get some one with you or buy more than one car..... Any extra room your just throwing money away...

Still interested in the "Z-bar" and all related parts including the downlinks and mounting brackets. Also, how much for a limited slip(assuming it's for a swing axle)? You can e-mail me directly at [email protected]

In Europe the T25 (Vanagon) is called a T3, a syncro 16 is a 4 wheel drive version on 16" wheels from the factory :)
