I'm looking for a cheap bus with a motor and tranny I dont need interior. would like something thats fairly solid minor cancer is ok by be. Motor doesn't have to run (would be a plus) but as long as it turns over.

how cheap? i've got a couple options that may work. got a 73 (in charlotte) and a 75 (in columbia, sc).
75 is for sale on the samba. its pretty nice. new window seals all around (doors rebuilt too). exterior resotration 95% complete...only needs door seals installed. the motor and tranny are decent. brand new tires. it runs, drives, stops.
my 73 is currently my DD and the motor and tranny are the main reasons for that (2L w/40 dells & 091 tranny)runs like a champ, i can cruise @ 80 no problem. its a little rough but surface rust NO CANCER! mechanically very sound. solid underneath (its from Texas). complete interior. new tires. needs window seals (have).
heres the propostion: if i can switch the drivetrains and the tires (like the DT & tires on the 73 better) i'd sell the 73 for less than 2K (around 2K w/seals...IOW make me an offer!) if i did that switch then the 73 would fit your ad perfectly!
