pics of the heat setup? 82 is aircooled right? I want to put that style heat into my 77, and have no idea how it is supposed to be setup. I have ~80%of the parts I think, but I have no idea what I am missing, and no reference photos! A pic of the engine bay w/ it still in there, if possible would be fantastic!

did this one havea gas heater? any parts for that avail?
give a man a watch and he'll allways know what time it is. give him two and he can never be sure again.

Things are rarely just crazy enough to work, but they're frequently just crazy enough to fail hilariously.

I can get you some pics tonight after work. It does have a gas heater and the system looks to be complete, but I have not tried to run it.
Thanks

if you part out the engine, dibs on the fan housing.
Addendum to Newtons first law:
zero vehicles on jackstands, square gets a fresh 090 and 1911, cabby gets a blower.
EZ3.6 Vanagon after that.(mounted, needs everything finished) then Creamsicle.

Not parting out the engine yet. Have someone coming tomorrow to hopefully buy running engine. One of my friends has several type 4 engines in his barn, I can ask him if he will part any out.
Thanks

I'm just looking for another Vanagon shroud, have several std T4 units.
Much better CHT balance.

Make sure to grab the complete ignition setup out of it, including the harness.

very nice ignition system, Hall effect with module, lowZ coil, driver module and idle stabilizer (which can be bypassed)

Ignition system went with engine. Just pulled gas heater tonight. Have nice shifter boot, shifter and shifter box. Anything else that anyone could use? I am keeping fuel pump.
Thanks

The early style headlight buckets and grille are a popular conversion for late models.
The big round singles throw a much better light pattern.

I could use the grille, already bought the buckets awhile back, just haven't had time to work on the Vanagon.
