Air research turbo info

I just got a Free turbo. It is an air reasearch model-TB0326. It is of a volvo.

Are these rebuildable? Where can I get rebuild kits? How much do they usually cost?

What size engine would this be good for? What type of carb should I run on it?

So few questions and so few answers we can give...Need more info before one can give an educated reply... Sounds like you have a T3 turbo ...good for a Vw app;ication IF it is to be used in a draw through you need to have the correct seals Unless you are familiar with turbos you wont be able to tell without disecting...NOW>>>>READ all the past 3000 posts on this site there are many more answers than questions...GET the TURBOMANIA book 22.00 Think John C carries it? and then READ it too! While it is possible to slap a turbo on the vw and instantly have double your hp or,even more it is much more likely thia approach will lead to distuction of your engine turbo or wallet...It is IMPERATIVE that the turbo be properly sized to avoid major problems....READ!
