i am interested in purchasing a vw dragster chassis but before i do. i need to know where to get info and parts to installed our 2275 cc turbo engine , with a chevy powerglide trans into chassis. i am looking for someone who can supply parts and info i am looking for , such as detailed pics and parts and aprox
cost.
special parts that i think i will need -adaptor for 3-pc scat case to powerglide trans - tq convertor to scat 6 bolt flanged crank flex plate- mics small parts and mount brackets to install engine and trans into chassis. etc.

any help greatly appreciated any ideas or thoughts?? in my part of ohio not a lot of vw interest , thats why i am asking vw racers with the ability to help my son and i out.

If you are interest Tim Norwood has 2 dragsters for sale that are set-up for powerglides.You can reach him at 865-429-9664.As for the other parts,you can get the motor plate from the Chassis Shop,the flywheel adapter you will probably have to have made because I don't think anyone makes them anymore.

yes norwood dragster is one i am looking at. [ new chassis , needs completed]
just trying to see how hard to gets parts needed , and install.

Turbo 350 transmission modified for Volkswagon
Flex plate
Hub for crank
Adapter. Plate
Starter.
Every thing you need to build a dragster or roadster.
This is the set-up for reliability and consistency that is need in bracket racing.
I will post some photos of transmission tomorrow
