Header merge tab kits

Anyone use these for a turbo header slip on merge, instead of welding it on?

I can't imagine getting a seal that way. On regular exhaust it would be fine I'm sure, but with the restrictive turbo I have a feeling you would get a huge leak at the union.

Pressurized the union and it threw a hissy fit! Looking at options.

Ultra scientific pressure test of sealing off the big 1.75 end and one of the 1.5's then inserting a correctly sized tube into the other 1.5 and blowing a big breath into it. Wouldn't be complete without soapy water to see the leakage.
