Find another TD04L-13T and do this mod to it.
Supports another 80 hp and only costs 300 rpm in spool.

I've removed the car stereo ( you can't hear it over the engine anyway) and will be fitting a blanking plate and fitting the boost controller in it

Oh I'm glad you mentioned that clone. I forgot I found what is said to be 2 of the 13T's in good shape for sale in the next town over from me for an asking price of $75 each. If they are good I'm going to try to get the pair for $100.

I won a best car photo shot and got my bug on the front cover of a group on Facebook called WOT (Wide Open Throttle)
I never win anything 😁

Hi all well fitted electronic boost controller and have started setting it up and to any one who's never used one bloody get one. It's great it builds boost to 13 psi a lot faster and controls the boost at 14psi like a treat, I've set the boost limiter to 18 psi and yes I've set it off witch was scary cause I thought I broke something.
I've now got my 0-60 mph run down into the five seconds 😁 wonder what I can get with more boost πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ’₯πŸ’₯πŸ’₯😭

At 14 psi boost my A/F ratio is floating between 11.1 to 11.4:1 and crusing I get 13.7:1 but for some reason im getting a lean spike between 7-8psi boost not Shaw how that's happening. Also I've taken her up to 18 psi boost today but I'm getting knock around 16/17 psi. I've tried making her richer 10.3:1 but that didn't help at all so went back to the 11.1 ish range and had to retard the timing 8 degrees BTDC at 16 psi boost to stop the knocking but torque felt week at this timing. So what is this telling me?
Is my compression ratio just to high now?

That would be my guess. Just be careful. You only get so many oopses before you cry!

Looks like my dynamic compression ratio is actually very high at 16psi boost Ive always been told to stay around 12:1 dynamic ratio when at max boost. My dynamic compression ratio is now 14.28:1

You're fuel can't support the boost you are throwing at it. You either need better fuel, or a more efficient combustion chamber. More fuel is not the answer, and sure, you can turn the timing all the way down, but that costs horsepower, eventually more than you gain by adding boost. It sounds like you've hit that threshold. I'm really liking e85 for this reason right now. Running 30 degrees at 15psi, no knock, just a lot of power. Doesn't suck.
