Weber draw through fuel system help

Hi all I've decided this time to try a draw through turbo set up on my 1600 bug cause I've never done one before just blow through set ups, any way need help with the furling side of things. Now I now the Weber need around 2psi of pressure to run good and unlike a blow through system I do t need a boost sensitive fuel pressure regulator ( am I right?)
So do I just set the fuel pressure using my filter king regulator to 2 psi and that's it? If so I'm guessing I could use the stock fuel pump?
I'm only planning on 8-10 psi of boost

It is still better to have a boost reference. your fuel use goes up fast but unlike Blow through you are not fighting the boost pressure. run the 2lbs if that is required but have it boost up to 5 or 6 lbs under boost. Never want to go lean and if I remember correctly the Draw through carbs have a smaller fuel bowl and that is why it is better to still give it a limited boost of fuel.

Thanks mate. Just need the fuel pump to turn up now I ended up buying it from from a small place many many miles away called America Cause it was cheaper to buy there than in the UK . £200 if I brought from the uk or £130 total if I brought from America

Just found out that I should have a check valve on the turbo boost line going to the fuel pressure regulator does anyone have a link to what type I need?

I don't see why. I have a Blow through but the boost reg is the same.

You don't need the check valve , but you do need the boost sensitive fpr.

Ok the only reason I've asked is because some people are saying that on a draw through set up the boost sensitive fuel pressure regulator will see a high vacuum as well as boost and the regulator will break?

Wont break it, but will suck it shut. Put a check valve in it and problem solved.

I think its a 2 or 3 psi check valve. Car Craft sells them. Some motors make more vacuum than others at idle.

So I have a question. How do you keep the fuel bowl full on a sidedraft at lets say 20 psi in 4th gear? Because anything over about 3 psi the needle and seat will not handle at idle and will spill over.
