Ok so i got a Nib gt3582 quick spooling turbo for a 12 pack of beer

My question is can I run it on a stock 1600dp?? Anyone have any luck with one?.. whats the rpm range?. I know it's chinese copy but was damn near free.. what do u guys think? Here is a pic with spec of the same gt35 turbo... right now I'm running a godspeed t3/t4... and what about a carbon seal?? Is it a option or required??

It supports 300-500 hp........Do you think it will spool????

If you keep your rpms between 5500 and 7500 it might work.

I'd suggest it's waayyy too big for a stock 1600. Once you actually get the motor to the revs where it could actually spool this turbo, the bottom end will being trying to destroy itself. It's designed to build 400-600hp. I can't even conceive how a 1600cc 2v/cyl engine could even get close to flowing that much. The suggestion seems to be that this would only be for use on big, crazy SR20s or EJ20s.

You could build a crazy wasserboxer, it would be right on the limit to get the best of it.
