Subarugears sells a reversed ring and pinion and other goodies, usually used by folks swapping in a Subaru motor.
Addendum to Newtons first law:
zero vehicles on jackstands, square gets a fresh 090 and 1911, cabby gets a blower.
EZ3.6 Vanagon after that.(mounted, needs everything finished) then Creamsicle.

Mario had the TB alone in a custom intake years ago. Was good enough to get him a mid 11 second pass out of his pump gas 2276 turbo street car.

That should be plenty for me. I don't intend to build a race car.... But if it ends up being fast as hell I would be OK with that!

Is that with a CB hideaway header?

Re: Fitech
No just a homemade POS I had at the time. CB header would place aircleaner on the other side.

Re: Fitech
Would a set up like that benefit from having 2 of those TB's? Close to the end castings?

Re: Fitech
Makes it more complicated.....
You could get different endcastings and use the single and make your own intake.
The German Stock TB is 45 mm and a little bigger which is what I use.

Makes sense. I'm sure getting the megasquirt built, set up, and ran will be all the complication I need!

You can buy a built MS for not that much cash or use a Microsquirt like me

Yeah. I've just seen pics and vids of guys that have used it. Looks like wires are going everywhere.

Re: Fitech
Nah, it's pretty simple really. 6 sensors (head temp, air temp, throttle, oxygen, crank, manifold pressure) run everything and then you have 2 outputs for injectors and 2 outputs for ignition (wasted spark like a subaru). The only extra complication then is idle air control. That's an electic valve that lets the motor idle right.

Re: Fitech
Perhaps while installing it, yeah, but its really pretty straightforward as all the wires are color-coded and labeled every 12".(printed on the insulation)buguy wrote:Yeah. I've just seen pics and vids of guys that have used it. Looks like wires are going everywhere.
Well worth buying the premade harnesses just for that.
You haven't lived until you get to work something with 200 wires all the same size, color and no labels... or prints. Great fun.

Sounds like there is good support so I'm not too worried about the physical part. The tuning part will be where I have zero knowledge. I'm getting excited though. I need to hurry up and get it here before I end up buying some other project!
