Man that's a really nice intake. I wish they made one that was smaller!

Yeah that's why I made all my own stuff, but it's no where near as nice as the pro built stuff.

Re: My latest ride
I Hear Ya,, I started to re-rout all my Oil lines Yesterday since it hit 60*f
Swapping the chrome doghouse shroud off the rail buggy so I can run 4 oil coolers yep four
comes out of the filter to the 72 plate w/fan then to a finned tube cooler the to the intake back to the engine,, stock dog house cooler in place too or I may run it backwards using the plate cooler last cuz my temp sensor is in that line.

Re: My latest ride
Mine will run up to 220 or so and stay there while cruising. I just run good full synthetic oil. I have just the one 96 pass cooler. No room for anything else!

That should be just fine. I'd go that route if mine wasn't setup how it is.

Re: My latest ride
I installed a oil thermostat and re-routed all my oil lines/aka "Plumber's Nightmare'
just need to fab up a new bracket to help support the intake

Re: My latest ride
You almost got it! I used hollow tube on my support and I hate it. I just smashed the ends flat and drilled holes there to go over studs. Needs to be beefier. Maybe you could find some solid round stock to use?
I also went up to my carb base and I think I would find a way to make the support shorter if I was to do it again. Keep things as ridged as possible.

Re: My latest ride
Heim is the way to go. And the proper silicon intake boot. I recently put a 4 ply boot on mine and its floppy. My old one wasn't like that. It was 5 ply if I remember right, but after 10 years of being on there it was a little hard.
