Re: My latest ride
well I asked a cpl. people to send pic's so I'm still waiting
I must of gotten a bad batch of Race fuel ,,I't would not even boost to 15lbs ,,,, bogged ,, feel on it's face
I waited a whole year for this ,, boy was i pissed ,,, It blew off the fan belt on the first burn out and ,,oil temp were up there 250*+
0 oil pressure, replaced the belt oil cooled pressure came back ,,,
next morning filled it up with premium gas ,,, tune was back time to pull out the 1915 and slap in the 2276 probably next week?
as for the Car Show on Father's Day I did win 3rd place in the "ProStreet' class, competing against Detroit Iron with Blower's sticking out of their Hoods

Re: My latest ride
The Beast is in : 2276cc with the new FK10 cam(thanks Aaron Creech for confirming I use this cam )and total seal 2nd piston rings and brand new cylinders , so far so good I broke in the cam on my 'test stand' and did have a small oil leak from one of the Purdy JC pushrod tube's easy fix ,, then I installed in the bug,,,
This thing chirps the tires shifting into 2nd and I was still in 'Vacuum'
put a few miles on it, then hit boost with only premium fuel and 10-12 lbs it pinged a tiny bit at the end of the pull/shift ,, , so going to up the jetting today and 'test' some more a friend offed me his new Quick fuel 680 Vac secondary 4 barrel to try out , he wants to barrow my 750 Demon on his chop top chevy show truck ( stroked 383ci)before he switches to EFI so I waiting and it's a Holiday wknd

Re: My latest ride
went to a small car show saturday and It's 26 miles north of Atlanta,mi, I toped off the fuel tank @ both towns, could only get 09.2 Gal. back in the tank,
wow 28 MPG
with a 2276
FK10 cam
and a 750 Demon carb and no It wasn't IDLING yes I did 'get on it' a few times"
and the Jetting is 73 primaries and huge 98 secondaries with the 50cc accelerator pump,

Re: My latest ride
well It started out to be a decent trade one Quick Fuel 680 4 barrel carb for working on a tub buggy ,, then he Gave me this 'Free Buggy' :without motor ,no brakes , 3 bad tires ,, been sitting outside forever Motor frozen on trans (clutch stuck/rusted on flywheel) , I rolled out the old Mickey Thompson rear tires from the root cellar,,(no dry rot ) slapped in the 1915 and now waiting on a throttle cable, and some 'small stuff" going to use this for some trail riding with my Grandson & wife,, searching for a small rear seat

Re: My latest ride
That's fantastic! You might want to put some shocks on the back.
