hello bug66,

nice purchase, do you know who has build this transmission, amazing to see a T1 tranny that can handle 490Nm...despite all weddle internal ans gusseted case..perhaps due to the car weight..

I'm still building my new engine (2074 turbo and injection) and have a look for a new tranny to replace my rancho "pro-street", worry by all the comments on T1 tranny...

It's from KCR, and have all Weddle internals, including the stupid expensive R&P.. With a really nice diff, it handles some power.

I'll go hydraulic clutch and clutch management, and that will help on longevity.

A small update.

Did a leakdown test and got 3-6% leak on all cylinders except number 2. A wopping 50% leak turned in to a cracked cylinder.

So now I've taken it all apart, and will do a bearing swap and clean it up all nice and shiney :) Will "upgrade" to Revmaster cylinders.

Will still be the same set up, so no bigger turbo. Yet.

Still 343hp/487nm at the wheels at 1,7 bars of boost.
