Fuel Systems that Feed our Turbo powered mills! (GALLERY)
There's tons of talk on here about cams, intake designs, plenums, intercoolers, heads, headers, etc. but I have yet to find an in depth thread on the topic of FUEL SYSTEMS. (as they relate to TURBO set ups)
I've read some of the threads in the other forums in regards to fuel injection, but I'd love to see how you guys are laying out your stuff. Ray Greenwood has some good posts in the other EFI forum. But what I want to see relates specifically to TURBO applications. This could be for simple low tech draw through systems or for more complex high tech EFI sset ups.
I need some ideas... I have a Turbo EFI project that I'm putting together and I have my body off the pan right now. I have the best opportunity to run new lines, weld bungs, tabs, or whatever I need with body off. I'm looking to get this done in short order, because I need to disassemble the pan and take it over to the media blaster for stripping and powder coat. I'm planning on making my car "flex fuel" capable with the ability to run E85. I don't want to take away from this threads original intended purpose as a "gallery for turbo fuel systems", but I'd love to see what has worked for you guys that have already done what I'm trying to accomplish.
So, POST THEM UP! LET'S SEE THEM!

Oh yeah, be sure to include specifics such as diameter of lines, AN fittings, pump ratings, engine size, injector sizes, etc!
Thanks!

For me personally, I'm looking for EFI and ethanol safe set ups.
But the purpose of this thread was to showcase ALL forced induction fuel system set ups!
This should turn into a huge, bookmarked thread...

EFI drag race setup I did -
MASSIVE Pro Star EFI pump mounted to the footbox -
Main fuel supply line with filter and return line (these are normally covered my a sheet metal tunnel) -
Rising rate FPR feeding fuel rails -
Behind the FPR is a billet return block I built so that the feeds and returns all stay close together.
Fuel rails are fed in the middle and return out one end -
Fuel lines with tunnel removed -
That Mezerie pump and tank to the left inside the car are the water source for the Intercooler.

I have gone the cheapest way:
ECU: MS1 Ver.2.2
wirning : self made and I´ve used some old wires (I´m gonna remake it, cause I want tu change the ecu location and add all in connector near the engine.
for a start I welded injector holes into my stock intakes.
Then I made some shitty looking intake :
And then I throw away my old selfmade fuelrails and made new ones:
And now I decided tu hide all this stuff behind doghouse.....so I will remove this self made oil filter stuff and put the fuel lines behind doghouse too:

On my draw through Pro Mod car I use a
Product Engineering fuel pump -
It has a return valve that keeps pressure to the reg at 25PSI (the rest return right up into the top of the tank -
The supply to the reg is AN-10 that is a stainless hard line running from the front to the back of the car.
The regulator has a hi and low side and returns fuel back to the tank to maintain a contant 6 psi to the carb.
The return from the reg connects to a 1/2" stainless hard line that runs to the front of the car -
So a -10 hardline runs down one side of the chassis (feed) and a -8 hardline runs up the other side of the chassis for the return to the tank (two returns - one pump and one reg).

I'll try to find pics of mine soon... though I'm thinking about changing a few things this summer.

Here's one that I'm following closely... It's Chad Dailey's Ulimited Street project. The craftsmanship is AWESOME!

I can't wait to see him finish this car! It's going to be SICK!Modify front access to get my fat-a$s hands in there:
The Big PITA: I've always wanted to do the stainless fuel lines like this, but never had the opportunity until now. After doing it this way, I'm not sure I'll do it again! Anyway, I think it turned out pretty clean...
As usual, there's more pics available here: http://s99.photobucket.com/albums/l284/ ... 20Edition/
That's it for now...
