Just something to watch for, On my type 4 turbo (blow through) I had a large intercooler like yours. What I experienced was that the boost/air speed would drop off as it entered the big volume cooler, The turbo had to work harder to put the PSI into the heads. Removed the cooler and the lag was considerably reduced.
Good luck.
I'll just blame it on the twin disk clutch ;)

What is that knob that you welded in in the middle of the pipe?

One is an O2 bung - the other outside of the flange is the "muffler"

Im hoping it takes the edge off - somehow I managed to make it sounds like a two stroke with the 4 - 2 - 1 header. I'll post some more picts tonight once im done with the turbo support.

Here's the rest of the system - pairs 1-3 / 2-4
Finalized the stainless turbo support bracket and downpipe with some heat wrap where it gets closest to the fender. Might get it ceramic coated down the road.

In house build with Bender (he has the twin turbo vert from back in the day). Would probably work great on a NA car.

At last, someone who gets that the late Vanagon factory exhaust wasn't just a packaging exercise.
You could sell those if the price was sane-ish.
Addendum to Newtons first law:
zero vehicles on jackstands, square gets a fresh 090 and 1911, cabby gets a blower.
EZ3.6 Vanagon after that.(mounted, needs everything finished) then Creamsicle.
