Turn the boost down?
That's crazy talk.
Addendum to Newtons first law:
zero vehicles on jackstands, square gets a fresh 090 and 1911, cabby gets a blower.
EZ3.6 Vanagon after that.(mounted, needs everything finished) then Creamsicle.

The point I was tryin to make is You don't need to crank up the boost with these big stroker motor's to make the same if not more Power/torque
15 lbs of boost ain't the same with a 1585-1676cc  compared to a 1915 or 2276cc 8) wish I lived closer to u guys I'd let u drive my Bug  It will make u swallow your gum

Its very true, mine made 201hp at 7psi, and 236hp at 9. Both on a very conservative pump gas tune. It wasn't happening at 3000 rpm though, more like 5000-6000. Doesn't mean I don't enjoy 20+, and I'm still gonna push this thing to 30 or so.

A longer stroke (AKA "a long throw" [an old hot rodder term]) with a properly ground high lift, short(er) duration cam (a bigger bore also helps) is going to give you a lot of low RPM grunt but the high end RPMs aren't going to be there because of the cam grind. A big stroke is also going to require some case mods too.

Got a little bored the other day so I whipped up a cover for the back of the intercooler to pretty it up a bit.

I also redid the sticker since I blocked the old one....don't want to be accused of not warning the challengers.......

Might be heading to Mario for a ECU upgrade next week. I'll get my fan to operate off the ECU instead of the Hobbs. That way I can program when and how long I want the fan to stay on instead of it only being on when over 4 lbs boost.

I'll also be making an order for the clutch and pressure plate by the first of the year and possibly a new WI pump too.

I love it! My boss bought his son a huge vinyl printer a year ago. I don't think he has it quite figured out but he's been making some stickers. I need to have him start making us some!
