meyers manx tow'd clones

Offroad VW based vehicles have problems/insights all their own. Not to mention the knowledge gained in VW durability.

Bob, There are a couple of towd clones for sale now on the buggy trader. I think one is tube frame construction. Try here . Good luck. Bob Ingman http://www.dune-buggy.com/forsale/forsale.cgi

And while you are there use the search function and look for Davis Barret, or towd. He supplies both the bodys and tubular chassis.

Mine is a berrian tube chassis and Nostalgia body also from berrien. I assume that by tow'd you mean built to be towbared around 4 on the ground?

Sean the Tow`d is a buggy body built by Myers in the 60s. So named to be towed behind motor homes etc. They have sort of motorcycle style fenders. Cute little buggers but rare now days. Good luck. Bob Ingman

Sean, use the link I posted above for buggy-trader and then scroll down a little (Jan 16) to see the FS Tow`d Clone for sale. I`ve also found them doing a Yahoo search for Myers Tow`d. Good luck. Bob Ingman
