Re: The Shop Thread!
I want carne asada. Best I could hope to do is to roast a marshmallow with mapp gas. I need a better AC unit. The one I have just doesn't cut it on 90+ days. I also need to insulate the wall between the paved side and the gravel floor and uninsulated storage side. The storage side gets as hot as the inside of a car in AZ on hot, sunny days.

If you were to cook chicken on that stove the it would be a pullet stove.
Your shop is looking better all the time. One thing I would recommend would be to get busy and prim and paint those surfaces to protect them from the elements and you. It sure makes cleaning up and possibly finding things a lot easier.

Ah, good one.
Thanks. There shall be no interior shop painting. I like the look of bare wood and don't have time for such endeavors. However, I do have to get back to work painting the house. I hate house painting more than pretty much anything (plus I do it old school because it holds up better...brush, not sprayed).

I am not a good hand painter either and I also hate it which is why I don't normally paint unless I can't figure a way out of it. But for the sake for the ease to clean stuff off, once-in-a-while, I do paint in certain circumstances.
I have one work table that I did not paint and all of a sudden it is a grease patch or dirty, dark, stained wood and I don't know where it came from. The guy across the street wanted the table... but not now!

I fixed it for you. Too bad I'm in CA- I'd buy you a beer. Just because of your prejudice in paint.
