Funco SS2 Barn find

Offroad VW based vehicles have problems/insights all their own. Not to mention the knowledge gained in VW durability.

Are you thinking of maybe racing it in the NORRA Mexican 1000 vintage race? It is much more relaxed than the Baja 1000 and is held over four days. It is the most fun race I have participated in!

No. I am building it for the Lucas Oil off road regional series Desert buggy class with my 15 year old son driving. I have raced several SCORE races over the years both buggy in the beginning and then Class 40 motorcycles in the 90's. Mexico races are a love/hate relation with me.

seem to work out fine after I got the housing width figured out. Mind if I keep them just a little longer to build another torsion housing for my baja?

We won't need them until after our race in May. No worries if you need them a while longer.

Nice #1. Looks like you're about ready to burn some metal.
Collecting parts again... No I'm not going to say why!
