Your transfer pumps that fast? We don't usually leave camp that quick. I'm sure you'd have a few minutes notice. Or..........do you notice everyone trying to leave camp without you that quick!

From the point of view of the Tech Inspector on here...And the fuel cell vent being one of the more important and troublesome issues...
1 - Upside down valves in vent lines do NOT stop fuel from flowing out when the car is right side up.
2 - Why does the end bend upward" did you intend to hold fuel in there?
3 - Why does it end over the skidplate? Did you intend for spilled fuel to sit in the skidplate?
4 - I presume the zip ties are for mock-up purpose, not permanent support of the vent tube. Although, I've seen just that MANY times on race cars in Tech.
5 - Is that rubber hose 90 bend fuel resistant?
Those items aside. It's very nice work. I don't care WHAT the other guys on here say about you.

The fuel cell vent is indeed a troublesome issue. Thanks for chiming in Dusty, I was hoping you would.
I understand how the check ball works in the cell. I considered running the vent higher along the B pillar, and along the roof... but decided against it purely for aesthetics.
The 90 between the line and the cell is fuel rated. The zip ties are indeed temporary, I just wanted to get a test run or two in before I built brackets to secure it. I'm picturing some rubber isolated clamps.
The night run was the first time bouncing around with the new vent. I noticed fuel smell once, but I did not have any noticable amount of fuel sloshing out of the vent.
I bent the end up for the sole purpose of keeping the vent out of the dirt/sand that will collect on the skid plate.
I settled on the filter placement as the least dusty, least likely to get caught by a wayward rock, stick, broken axle or recently run-over tweeker...
I genuinely appreciate your ideas Dusty.

The flat bed trailers? The Chevy? The mustang or my dirt farm Joe?
...and negative Getrdid... But the new cats that came in the mail today should fix the problem.

Then... Blew apart the 3.5 sniffing for vacuum leaks, and adjusting valves. Pretty neat motor.
Note the "VTEC" third lifter on the intake side. Someone had their thinking cap on for that one...
