My brother and I both used to run 1 of these, and they used to get stuck closed if you pushed the brakes hard enough to hold the vehicle on a hill. Mine is off in the bushes as far as I could throw it, right next to my brothers.
too funny..... reminds me of my late friend Jeff, he tossed a broken electric soldering iron while we were at the dunes. he spun it around his head by the cord and let it rip.....

I keep blowing out exhaust gaskets, this set only lasted about 6 mo, Sold a bike yesterday so I now have cash for the big VW swap meet in Columbus next Saturday
Was rebuilding the carb for the Volksrod yesterday and these came out of the drawer on my work bench.
It ran when I pulled it out but it made a knocking noise at a certain rpm, that after I pulled it thought it may have been where the heat riser flange broke off the exhaust manifold on the right side but now I dont know.
PS Is Photobucket or posting pics here acting up for anyone else on here?
