Al ended up canceling this weekend. I was majorly bummed. Chris and Ray traveled from NJ before I found out. Since they were already there, Al watered the track so we could get a few laps in. I took the new buggy over to get some seat time and I need it. I was grabbing the wrong gears, over/under rotating, missing my lines etc. I was really there to have fun and get a feel for the car again since I've not driven it for a while. I had a blast and I'm glad I got to go. Turns out I had a short in the dash and had a little cockpit fire before I got on the track. Glad it happened there and not during a race:-) We're racing at Rolling Ranch north of Pittsburgh next week. There should be quite a few super buggies there from what I'm told (at least 8). Sorry about the quality, it was filmed on a Flip camera and I opted not to edit out the dusty parts and leave the footage raw.

By the way we really had to tiptoe through the last turn. It was very slick there and crashing into a small grader didn't sound like much fun :P

We had a good day of racing this weekend at Rolling Ranch. Nice car turnout. Good track. GREAT weather.
I broke a through rod in the first race and blew off the radiator cap in the second. Despite those I had decent races and had a blast. I've still got a long way to go in the new car but it's getting a little more natural for me to drive it.

We'll do it again Oct 2. Should be a good turn out for the points race. Come on out and enjoy the fun!

Thought some of you might enjoy to see what your ideas and posts contributed to. So far I'm in it for <$3000 including purchase and subaru conversion, so don't expect too much :?

Hmmm, no biggie, just looks like a payday night in the parking lot of the bar down the street: especially the constant door slamming part.
