Hey, my dash pad in my '72 super is badly cracked, and very painful on the eyes. Here are my questions:
1: I've heard aftermarket dash pads are lousy. Is this true?
2: Fiberglass dashboards, such as the ones found at glass-action.com, are they usually of high quality, and are they easy to install?
Thanks,
-Tim

I've never really looked into the aftermarket dash pads so I can't comment on that.twinfactor wrote:Hey, my dash pad in my '72 super is badly cracked, and very painful on the eyes. Here are my questions:

I have a fiberglass dash from glass-action from a few years ago, one of the "custom" ones that has a curved face. It fit on arrival but i had some corners filled or shaped out to fit my particular dash better. I havent gotten so far as to cut any hole in it yet, its been a slow project
What look , if any at all, are you going for? I'm sure there are lousy aftermarket dash pad's and there are some decent ones just take the time to look around.
