Speedometer Adapter

Post by JWP »

I'm looking to see if anyone remembers the speedometer adapters to put a smaller speedometer in the factory guage hole. This part is basically a ring that filled the gap between the speedometer and the hole in the dash.
Thanks
Jason

Neat, I have never seen an adapter before. I made my own out of a thin sheet aluminum so the hold down brackets are not nearly as nice as that design.
Yeah some may call it overkill, but you can't have too much overkill.

That piece also fills in the gap between the factory opening and smaller gauges. However I think it won't be necessary for me now. I've purchased a 914 tach that I plan to put front and center and from what I can tell it is bigger than the stock speedometer opening.
