I'm installing a new headliner ( WCM ) in my 69 Bug, and have the front
done. In planning the steps to do the back I've run into some channels
that I don't know how ( or when ) to deal with.
These channels have tabs similar to the ones above the door openings.
Once the headliner is tucked in, they make a nice seam on either side of
the rear window. The pictures I took before disassembly show what looks
like a 2 piece approach from the factory. I would have to cut my headliner
to duplicate that, and I'm not sure it would work anyway.
Has anyone else run into this ? Any suggestions ?
