I'm looking for a hole that is already in the body that I can run the cable from a CD changer, near the front of my 73 Std Beetle, to get into the trunk compartment to get to the back of my receiver.
I am going to mount the CD changer under the passenger seat. I want to run the changer control cable in the car as much as possible up to the front along the center rail or rail along the door then out to under the car to be able to bring it up into the trunk area through the hole where the vent tube comes out (this is the hole behind the gas tank the the tube from vents goes into it). Then I will bring the cable up to the back of the receiver.
