EXCELLENT!

That is one of the nicest renditions of a Squareback that I have ever seen! I hope you are working in Art/Graphics field because you have some awesome talent. :!:

Do you have a website that shows more of your artwork :?:

thanks all

I do work as a media developer/flash application designer and my wife is an artist and both of my kids too, so it's my world...lol.

Foose is great.

You can see more here: http://www.58vw.com

I'll post the finished drawing.

Thanks

I've seen that car at the Eureka Springs AR show, very cool!! And you nailed it my man!! How much would you charge to do a drawing like that for my Fast Back?

I'm a graphic designer at a local newspaper, and I would love to learn how you do that. I could kill it with local car dealers. Let me know how you do it!

Just like in the thread.

I scan my pencil drawing, then redraw it in Illustrator then render in Photoshop.

You can use just about any selection tool you want in Photoshop. It's pretty much like a coloring book...the selection tools help you stay inside the lines.

Your dealers lookin for art? Hook a brotha up.

Very nice indeed. The newspaper world is quick and dirty, no time to spend on tightening things. I use mostly photoshop, and indesign which is the backbone of out DT network. I'm just learning illustrator. What tool are you using to draw your paths? (sorry this isn't even remotely type 3 related)

He does draw rather well, however, drawing and BUILDING a car are entirely different processes. He's one of the few that can do both ;)

I agree, Foose is cool...(not so much in person though...probably just a bad day a few times. )

Other's to check out are my good friend

Jeri Clow - http://www.motorsportsillustrated (she taught me how to do this)

Greg Tedder - Under contract with Chevy...awesome!

George Trosley (Krass and Bernie...cartoons magazine.... http://www.georgetrosley.com ) He was a judge for my "Draw my car" contest.

Thom Taylor (Not so nice as well but great art)

and Steve Sanford.

Taylor gets cars built from renderings as well. He also teaches at one of those hot California car design places...Pasadena I think.

Very very cool stuff. Lots and lots of great art out there.
