I think anything could probably be done tastefully.
Because who would've known a 412 could look that cool, as that one you were talking about. So sure, why not.
Peace,

Are you talking about woody panels like the Brady Bunch station wagon or woody like a 40's surfer wagon?

Two totally differant things. I think a surfer looking Squareback would be awesome.

looking for opinions.
What do you guys think of woody panels on a Squareback? Similar to that 411/412 that was in one of the mags a couple months ago.
I met a guy who says he could make me some, but I don't know if I'd like it.
Can someone fake it w/ photoshop so's I could take a look?
Thanks

Yeah, something like that.
I'm gonna talk to the guy & get an idea of cost.
Thanks Max. You still looking at the Fastback?

I went on Saturday to see about the condition of the engine, but there was no one there. It was around noon so they might have been at lunch as the yard was open, but the shop was closed.
As it turns out I went to my building to take the turbo out of that dead t-bird (that was a pain) and noticed the garage across the alley from me was open. Inside there was a beatle that didn't look like it's been touched in a while. There were no windows or a decklid, but there was a shiny chrome pulley on it. I didn't look too closely at it as I didn't want to trespass, but I might investigate that one further too.
A beatle is the last thing I'm looking for, but if it's cheap...and parts are easier and cheaper to come by. And I wouldn't have to worry about transporting it.
Let me know if you want to see anything else done. You can send me a picture of your car if you want too.
