engine mounths

I have a 66 fastback but the engine is rigid mounted in the type one way. How is the engine mounted normally? I'm very curious how it mounths in the back. Some pictures would be appreciated.

For Swing Axels -- like your 66 came with - the engine is mostly supported by the transmission end. There is one additional hanger that is just to the right of the fan belt access port in the center of the engine.

If your car has been converted to IRS - it will be 50% hung off the transmission, and there will be a bar mounted under the fan that goes the width of the engine is is hung off the side sheetmetal. With this setup -- the trans must be supported at the engine end if the engine is out of the car.

I have the swingaxle. Does anyone have a partnumber for the rearsupport?
Would be greatly appreciated.
