Brain transplant

Post by mondshine »

I'm thinking about a brain transplant for my stock D-jet system. I'm curious if anybody out there has used a megasquirt setup while keeping as many of the stock type 3 D-jet parts as possible. I was thinking that I could use beetle L-jet injectors which could employ the stock type 3 mounting arrangement, while using modern electrical connections. The only type 3 parts I'd like to ditch are the MPS and the brain. I posted this in the T3 area (rather than fuel injection) because I'd like to hear from people who have actually done it on a T3.
I'm just curious about what is involved.
Thanks in advance, Mondshine
