Anybody tryied this I have a 2094 stroker with twin dells(45) 473 lift on cam. cb heads want to put it in drag car Tired of danging frount ends. Buy the way MISS is short for mississippi redneck

the auto trans can handle about 150hp of abuse. if you want a better stall, put a vanagon torque converter on it as it was designed to get that heavy boat anchor moving.

thanks for the replys ckecking with a buddy now for bus converter.he is checking with a conver rebuild shop in jackson ms. he thinks they can build a converter that will do the job

Use the later model automatic. That is late type 3, 411/412. The one with the simpler differential side seals and the through bolt in the side shaft hub that connects the hub to the spoder gear spacer and lock plate. Ots got larger CVs and is stronger. Ray
