Antenna wire routing

Post by Jimbo70 »

Okay, I took the car apart 5 years ago and I don't think it had an antenna on it when I did. How/where do you route the antenna wire from the front fender into the cabin? Is there a hole I'm missing? I don't see anything obvious.

The hole might be hard to find, but it's in the extreme upper right corner under the driver's side fender. probably with a rubber plug. The wire will emerge from the kick panel ares above and in front of the fuse panel. Be sure to leave a "drip loop", a sag in the wire so rain water can't run down the wire and into the car. Use a grommet and some silicone goo to seal it.

Use the factory seal. Better than a grommet. The proper seal is still available I believe. Ray
