It's been quite a few years since I've adjusted the shifter on my squareback. I know you push the lever on the side of the transmission to the rear of the car when installing the cable.
My question is, do you just push it lightly to the rear or push it into the zone where you feel feedback from the spring (or whatever else the lever is connected to) inside the transmission?
The reason I'm asking is that if I have the car in park, it creeps reverse. Neutral is N.
Whatever other suggestions you guys might have please let me know. This shifter is killing me!
