Wide tyres on a variant

Hi, I have a set of Riviera alloy wheels that are going on my Variant. I would like to know what size tyres will fit under the front and rear without any rubbing problems. The variant has been slightly lowered (about 3 inches front and rear). I have a pair of 205/50/15 which I was planning to put on the back, and I was going to go skinny on the front only I have a pair of 225/65/15s which I may put on the back instead if the 205s will fit on the front. Opinons please!

This forum can be a bit slow at times. I don't have an answer for you as I've never run rivieras, but try posting this question over on thesamba.com's type 3 forum as there's a lot more happening there.
