my buddy just got a squareback and the front fenders are shall we say rough.. is there any place that repops em?

I'm also new to t-3's and if I had known it would be this hard to find ANYTHING new for them, I might have thought twice.

Stanthedog, welcome to the wonderful world of type 3's. New parts are out there, not as plentiful as say a beetle but they are out there. You will find the folks here are very learned about what will and won't work on a type 3. Many engine parts are interchangleable with the beetle and some other mechanical parts as well. Check the various parts houses and other forums. Once you get into it a bit I am sure you will find the world of type 3's to be a big improvement over the beetle. Good Luck and keep the faith.
