Well this is my 1st of many posts I hope. I have been a huge VDub fan for a long time now and just now have the chance to pick up one. Im about to buy a early 70's FB. The engine does not run and the owner does not know why. The body is real solid minus a few dents and no visable rust.
Im curious what do i need to look for before I buy it. (engine, body, ect...)
Also curious what would you do 1st to start trouble shooting the engine.
Sorry if this is real vague but I dont know a ton about type 3's other then I love there looks.
