And here I thought no one paid attention to my frankenstien-ien contraptions! Like they say in the ebonic language, YOU DA MAN!
Link restored, feel free to get rid of the one in your post.

Umm, I'm not sure I remember where I ordered the EGT probes from, lemme look.....

Ah, here we go: Sensor Connection

Pretty easy to install; just grab the right size drill bit, make a hole, put the compression style fitting and clamp on, and presto! I have one in #2 primary tube as close as I could get it to the flange, and the one you see next to the wideband O2 sensor in the pic. #2 primary usually shows anywhere from 1000*F (cruise, idle), to 1350*F (boost, high load). The one after the turbo never goes above 700*F. I've been meaning to try some header wrap to try and boost temps, and hopefully decrease spool time.

Is your VR sensor 90* to the trigger wheel? Have you run it that way yet? Curious how well it works.

Yeah it is saw a couple like this when looking through other sites, made making a mount very easy, bit of metal and vice and beat with hammer (my kind of engineering  )

If it doesn't work haven't lost much, but if it does saves me a bit of messing about making a straight on mount. Will let you know....

Soldering irons are only like 450*F, don't know what would happen if you used 700....probably burn the board. :?

Solder has no place anywhere in EFI or or EGT systems. Its a failure point. Factory got rid of it about 3 decades ago for this reason.
Use proper crimp connectors with a ratecheting factory style compression crimp. Lots of conversation and info on teh subject in these forums. Ray
